Leveraging on recognized Engie know-how

To achieve our missions, we rely on the long-term expertise and know-how of Engie teams:

  • The Operation and Maintenance of the assets is ensured by a subsidiary of Engie, seated in Picote, Miranda do Douro Municipality;

    • Engie Energy Management teams support us in the optimization of the assets and the access to energy markets.

In a transitional period of 24 months, they will be supported by the EDP teams, who have the historical knowledge of the assets..

Beatriz Milne
Chief Executive Officer

Beatriz Milne was born in Spain and has nearly 30-year experience in the energy sector. She started her career in 1996 joining the Commercial Department of Tejo Energia, the first Independent Power Producer in Portugal. In 2017 she was appointed CEO of Tejo Energia and extended her role as Commercial and Regulation Manager at the TrustEnergy Group, a Joint Venture between Engie and Marubeni. Throughout her career, she has successfully contributed to implement strategic commercial affairs and manage complex negotiations with key stakeholders ensuring regulatory compliance. Her expertise in handling disputes has also been instrumental in driving the company’s success. In 2024 she was appointed CEO of Movhera. Beatriz holds an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon.

 

Filipe Almeida Santos
Chief Financial Officer

Filipe Almeida Santos is an International Executive skilled in Finance and Services to Power Generation and Industries. Senior Leader with 25 years of experience in Services and Turnkey Projects in the Energy Sector and in other Industries.

Born in France in 1969, his academic qualifications include a Master Degree in Economics at Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal) and a PhD in Applied Economics at University of York (UK). Speaking 4 languages (French, English, Portuguese and Spanish) he leads and develops from scratch multicultural Corporations and Teams. Engages Teams through changes and growth to deliver beyond expectations since he started working in 1992, as Director of Romeu Portugal, Lda, at Martifer Solar, as CFO and Board Member. In August 2017, he joined Voltalia as Head of Investment and Funding for Europe and South America and Head of Key Account Management for Institutional Investors.

Pedro Ribeiro
Chief Operating Officer

Pedro Ribeiro is an expert in Multinational Business Management, Power Generation and Automation. With over 30 years in technology, power and electrical equipment in companies like ABB, Alstom and General Electric, Pedro has a vast array of experience. Between 2010 and 2018, he managed teams specialized in thermal and renewable energy generation, and process automation projects: from the preliminary design, conception, tendering, budgeting, sales and negotiation up to the integration, execution and commissioning. Pedro obtained a University Degree in Electrical Engineering on Automation & Control and Power Electronics, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

 

Gustavo Rochette
Legal and compliance Officer

Gustavo Rochette is a Portuguese qualified lawyer working in the energy sector since early in his career. He has had experience in several energy subsectors, including energy efficiency and solar, wind, hydroelectric and biomass energy sources. This experience was gained during his stay as a legal counsel at ADENE – Agência para a Energia, as well as in private practice, both nationally, at Abreu Advogados, and international, at the London’s office of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP.

Gustavo has a Law degree and a Master’s degree from the University of Coimbra and an LLM in Energy and Natural Resources from Queen Mary University of London. Apart from his position at Movhera, he is also the Teaching Assistant of the Renewable Energy Law module at the Centre of Commercial Law Studies of Queen Mary University of London, where he teaches with Professor Malik Dahlan, Chair of International Law and Public Policy.
